A solicitor guiding a couple through signing a property deed, with the house keys on the table

Solicitors (solicitadores)

Matters with deadlines, document requests to clients and recorded time, all tied to the appointment calendar.

Everyday reality

In a solicitors' office, every deed arrives with several parties, several deadlines and a pile of documents.

Deed signings with documents arriving on the day

The deed is booked and the parties notified, but documents are missing. They arrive by email, in a rush, and there is no record of who has handed in what.

    With Farol

Document requests to the client within each matter: the client sends them through the portal and the files land in the right place.

Registry and case deadlines scattered across notebooks and email

Each matter has its deadlines and everyone notes them wherever they can: a notebook, a spreadsheet, flagged emails.

    With Farol

Deadlines recorded on the matter and visible in the calendar of whoever handles it.

Appointments that run late because nobody confirmed attendance

Parties don't show up, the appointment slips and the whole day unravels. A confirmation request the day before avoids the hole in the diary.

    With Farol

A reminder the day before that the client confirms or reschedules with one tap.

Client confidentiality and professional secrecy

Matters, documents and the identification of the parties are confidential information about your clients. In Farol they stay behind role-based access, field-level visibility and a record of who opened each document, in a database hosted in the European Union.

Document requests are part of the Services Complete add-on and serve the office's matters; outside legal matters, requesting documents from clients is not available yet.
